Hi! My name is Faith Harris and I am a seventeen year old senior at Ben C Rain High School. There are four things you need to do have a successful year at school and to complete your goal. First, you have to complete all the classwork and homework given to you so you can keep your grades up. Second, do not be afraid to ask questions in class. It does not matter if someone laughs at you as long learn what you need to in order to pass that class. Thirdly, ask your classmates for help when do not understand something they may be able to explain to you better than the teacher can. They can also give you work you missed and help you find your place in class when your not paying attention. Lastly, try to enjoy your classes.
ReplyDeleteLakherra, the expectations that you have set for the school year are outstanding, but I'm just going to give you a few tips on how to be a successful AP student:
ReplyDelete1.) Always pay attention during instruction because sometimes things can get a little confusing.
2.) Start all assignments early so that you'll have time to look over them and correct things.
3.) This is the most important tip that I'm going to give you; study on your own time! Although Mr.Rease and the other AP teachers do a great job of preparing you, you also have to take matters into your own hands and give yourself that extra push in order to be successful.
I hope these tips help you in the long run and I wish you a successful school year! Welcome to the world of Advanced Placement!
Great post! Good tips from Faith and Tatiaunia!
